사회정서학습의 이론 체계와 도덕교육적 함의

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국내외에서 사회정서학습에 관한 연구 및 교육 노력이 활발하게 진행되고 있다는 점을 고려 할 때, 도덕과의 경우에도 우리 청소년들이 보다 건강한 영혼을 갖고, 다른 사람과 조화로운 관 계를 유지하며, 민주 사회에서 보다 책임 있는 도덕적 시민으로 성장할 수 있도록 안내하기 위 해 사회정서학습에 관심을 두어야 한다. 즉 사회정서학습에 관련된 풍부한 자료를 바탕으로 그 장점을 체계적으로 분석하여 이를 학생들의 도덕적 성장을 돕는 하나의 자원으로 활용할 필요 가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 오늘날 미국에서 뿐만 아니라 국제적으로 그 중요성이 점차 부각되고 있는 사회정서학습의 특징과 장점을 분석한 후, 도덕교육적 시사점을 밝히고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Current research and education efforts in social and emotional learning have been made actively and plentifully. In this situation, researchers and educators in the field of moral education also need to have a deep interest in social and emotional learning, in order to help our students have morally healthy souls and minds, maintain harmonious and happy relationships, become morally responsible citizens in the future. Especially we need to use it as a useful and valuable resource for students' moral development through systematic review and analysis on social and emotional learning. For the purpose, this article explores the theoretical features of social and emotional learning, and then presents their implications for Korean moral education.
