ADHD 아동을 위한 문학치료 사례 연구 = A study on literary therapy of Children`s ADHD

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문에는 ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), 아동에 대한 문학치료 사례를 담고 있다. 10회기 동안 실시한 ADHD 아동-`현수`의 문학치료 보고서이다. 문학치료학에서 `자녀서사`는 상대적으로 약자인 아동들이 부모나 사회, 어른들의 질서에 `순응`하며 배우는 단계의 이야기이다. 불의나 폭력에까지 굴종하라는 의미가 아니다. 자연과 사회 질서를 우선 이해하고 배워야 자신의 내면을 전달·소통할 수 있고, 그 다음 단계로 나아갈 수 있다는 뜻이다. 현수와 같이 ADHD증세를 가진 아동들은 자신의 의지로 주의를 집중하거나 행동을 절제할 수 없으니 `배움`이나 `순응`의 출발부터가 어렵다. 이 때 제일 중요한 것이 어른들의 이해와 인자한 가르침이다. 그것이 실패할 경우 ADHD아동의 40%가 적대적 반항장애(oppositional defiant disorder)를 겸하게 된다. ADHD로 인해 어머니, 선생님들과 갈등을 겪고 있는 현수가 만든 이야기 속에는 <꾀쟁이 하인의 간계>와 유사한 서사가 들어 있었다. 이 서사들은 자녀서사 내의 `밀치기` 영역에 속한다. 비록 적대적 반항장애까지 겸한 현수였지만 그래도 `되찾기`와 `감싸기` 영역의 자녀서사를 배우고 느끼면서 현수는 어머니와 함께 긍정적인 변화를 해나갔다. 이 논문 속에는 ADHD 아동에게 좋은 영향을 준 한국의 설화 작품들이 들어있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This thesis will show how literature can be used as a remedy for children with ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). This is the report on "Hyunsoo", who is suffering from ADHD and who has had 10 courses of literary therapy. In literary therapy, `The Son and Daughter Epic" helps children try to adapt to the order of parents, society and adults. It does not mean children have to obey unfair or violent commands. You need to learn and understand the rules of nature and society in order to communicate with them and proceed to the next level. The child like Hyunsoo who has ADHD cannot focus on what he is doing or control his actions with his own will. Therefore, he is not able to learn anything or listen to other people. In this case, the most important thing is to demonstrate understanding and patience when you teach him. If you fail at teaching him, 40% of children will also have "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" as well as ADHD. The story written by Hyunsoo, who is having trouble with his mother and teachers due to his ADHD is similar to "A trick of a willy servant" This belongs to the scale of "Pushing" in "The Son and Daughter Epic". Although Hyunsoo has serious problems, he is undergoing positive changes through learning the scales of "Recovering and Protecting" in "The Son and Daughter Epic". This paper includes Korean folk tales which have had positive a influence on children with ADHD.
