다문화사회의 평화교육 과제와 뇌교육의 의미: 문화 간 이해를 중심으로 = A Study on the Meaning of Brain Education for Peace Education in a Multicultural Society: In View of Intercultural Understanding

The aim of this study is to suggest that the meaning of brain education for a peace education which is a super ordinate category of intercultural understanding. We are on an unavoidable journey to becoming a multicultural society. So, there is an urgent need of a plan for peaceful coexistence among the people of various cultures. The goal of the brain education, `Hong-ik-in-ghan(弘盒人間)`thought has a very significant implication about understanding the human being in a multicultural society. Then it changes the heterogeneity into the source of harmony instead of trouble. Furthermore, the experiential learning in view of practical method put the human on the daily life which is filled with peaceful relationship. Finally, the brain education which come from our educational tradition has a possibility to play an important role as a fundamental model for peace education in multicultural era.
