기독교 상담에서 하나님 이미지의 중요성 연구: 기독 대학생의 하나님 이미지와 영적 안녕, 심리적 안녕과의 관계를 중심으로 = A study on the importance of God image in Christian counseling: Based on the relationship God’s image, spiritual well-being and psychological well-being among Christian college students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was performed to investigate the relation of God image,spiritual well–being and psychological well-being among Christian Korean college students. The purpose of the study is to examine the importance of clients’ God image in Christian counseling and psychotherapy. The participants were 610 Korean college students (293 males and 317 females), ages ranged from 19 to 30 (M=22.33, SD=2.21). The psychological tests used in this research are the followings: God image Scale, the Korean version of the Spiritual Well–Being Scale and the Psychological Well-Being Scale. In the results, female students showed higher score of God image, spiritual well–being than male students, and male students showed higher score of autonomy, environmental mastery than female students. Correlational analysis revealed that God image is positively related to Spiritual well–being and psychological well–being and sub–factors of each well–being scale. To contemplate over the study, regression analysis is used. It revealed as God image was shown to have influenced spiritual well–being and psychological well–being and this is statistically significant. These findings indicate the importance of God image to help clients in Christian counseling and psychotherapy. The Christian mental health practitioners are suggested to be concerned about God image of clients.
