청소년 인터넷 음란물 접촉이 성폭력에 미치는 영향에서의 조건적 효과 = The Conditioning Effects of Internet Pornography on Youth's Sexual Violence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년들의 인터넷음란물 접촉이 청소년의 성폭력에 미치는 영향을 고찰함에 있어 그 영향력이 조건적일 것이라는 가설을 검증하려고 한다. 이 연구에서는 조건변인들로 폭력적 음란물에 접촉했는가 여부이외에 개인특성으로 성충동, 충동성, 전통적 성역할태도, 여성 성적 대상화, 남성지배 성의식, 강간신화신념 등을 고려하였다. 서울시 남자 중, 고등학교 청소년 559명을 대상으로 조사한 결과에 의하면 청소년들이 인터넷음란물에 접촉할 경우 성폭력을 저지를 가능성이 다소 높지만, 특히 폭력적인 음란물에 접촉할 경우 성폭력의 가능성은 더욱 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타나 조건가설을 지지하였다. 또한 본 연구결과를 보면 인터넷음란물에의 접촉의 성폭력에 미치는 영향력이 성충동을 자극하거나 혹은 그릇된 성의식 변인들에 의해 매개되지는 않는 것으로 나타났고, 그 대신 연구가설에서처럼 본 연구에서 제시한 여러 조건변인들 중 충동적인 아이들, 혹은 남성지배 성의식이 강한 청소년이 인터넷음란물에 접하게 될 경우 성폭력의 가능성이 높다는 결과를 제시해 조건가설을 일부 지지하는 것으로 나타났다.

This study attempts to find the conditioning effects of exposure to sexually explicit materials on youth's sexual violence. I hypothesize that their effects are conditional by sexual arousal, impulsity, traditional sex-role attitude, attitude toward women, male dominance attitude, and acceptance of rape myth. Using data from 559 male middle/high school students in Seoul, 2003, this study tries to test the conditioning hypotheses. This study verifies that violent sexual explicit materials have more effect on increasing the level of sexual violence. Results also show that the effect of internet pornography on sexual violence is not mediated by several intervening variables, but the interaction effect between internet pornography and impulsity and, in addition, the interaction effect with male dominance attitude are significant, which reveal to support the conditioning hypotheses of this study.
