대학생용 사회적 자기효능감 척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국 대학생의 사회적 자기효능감을 측정할 수 있는 간편 척도를 개발하고 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도에 대한 증거를 확보하는 것이다. 이를 위해 자기효능감 이론에 근거하여 사회적 맥락수준에서의 자기효능감을 단일구인으로 측정할 수 있도록 문항을 제작하고, 사전 예비조사, 예비검사, 본 검사 실시를 통해 문항을 수정, 보완하여 최종적으로 8문항으로 구성된 사회적 자기효능감 척도를 개발하였다. 척도의 문항들은 관계형성과 유지, 의견표현, 권리주장과 도움요청의 네 가지 영역을 다루는 내용들을 포함하고 있다. 척도의 양호도 검증을 위해 예비검사에서는 대학생 316명의 자료를, 본 검사는 전국의 대학생 493명의 자료를 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 본 검사에서는 문항 분석, 척도의 신뢰도 분석 및 타당도 증거 수집을 위한 상관분석, 요인분석, 법제정적 연결망 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 본 검사가 대학생의 사회적 자기효능감을 측정하는 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도가 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서 개발된 사회적 자기효능감 척도의 사용가능성과 효과를 대학생의 학교생활적응 맥락에서 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to construct and validate a social self-efficacy scale for college students. Based on the self-efficacy theory of Bandura and reviews of previous studies, items were developed specifically to incorporate the social context of Korean college students. In the process, a pilot test was conducted to check for cognitive validity and accommodate Korean students` experiences in their social life. Following the pilot test, a 21-item preliminary test was administered to 320 college students. The item analysis resulted in an 8-item, unidimensional scale of social self-efficacy. Responses from 493 college students on the final version of the scale along with the external variables were analyzed to collect reliability and validity evidence. Cronbach`s alpha for the final 8 items was .80, suggesting that the scale had adequately high internal consistency. In addition, the result of a confirmatory factor analysis provided evidence for construct validity of the scale. The correlations among external variables such as general self-efficacy, social anxiety, and depression provided additional evidence of the validity of the scale. Lastly, a test of nomological network via structural equation model analysis revealed the structural model that posited to represent the relationships among social self-efficacy and relevant external variables also supported the criterion-related and construct validity of the social self-efficacy scale for Korean college students. Practical application of the scale in educational and clinical settings is discussed.
