지역아동센터 서비스의 도움정도가 학교적응에 미치는 경로모형 = 직간접 효과의 확인을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 빈곤아동을 위한 지역아동센터의 서비스 이용 도움이 학교적응에 미치는 직간접 영향을 확인하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구는 선행한 사회서비스의 경험이 아동 개인, 가족, 사회적 체계에 미치는 관련성을 경로분석을 통해 규명하고자 하였는데, 연구표본을 지역아동센터 아동패널조사의 종단자료를 통해 확보하였고, 2개년도 (3~4차년도 패널)에 응답한 242명의 아동이 최종 분석대상이었다. 주요 결과로서, 지역아동센터 서비스 도움정도는 아동 개인수준의 관심변수인 자아탄력성과 문제해결능력에 유의하고 직접적인 영향을 주었지만, 학교적응에 유의하고 직접적인 영향을 주지는 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 다만, 지역아동센터 서비스의 도움정도는 다른 변수(부모의 긍정적 양육, 아동의 자아탄력성과 문제해결능력)들을 경유하여 학교적응에 의미 있는 영향을 주고 있었다. 주요 연구결과와 함께 실천현장에 주는 함의들도 결론부에 함께 제시되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the causal relationships between service usefulness of community children-center and school adjustments among children in poverty, after accounting for impacts of other variables of interest, such as self-resiliency, problem-solving ability, and positive parenting. The study used the data collected from the 3<SUP>rd</SUP> and 4<SUP>th</SUP> wave of Children Panel Survey of Community Children Center(n=242) and adopted a causal path analytic model using AMOS program. Although findings of the study indicated that there is no strong direct effect from service usefulness of community children-center to school adjustments among children in poverty, service usefulness showed an meaningful indirect effect on school adjustments, via relationship through positive parenting, self-resiliency and problem-solving ability of children in the sample. Besides major findings of the study, implications for the interventions and services issues are discussed in the conclusion.
