동물 보호에 대한 형사법적 연구 = A Criminal Study on the Animal Protection

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

``Animal Law`` is a comparatively new development from multiple fields of law that protect the interests of animals. It is also involved in the interest of humans that who care about animals. The contents of Animal Law in whichthe law defines and treats animals are very different from countries. And it is depended on the attitudes of the people who lived in that country towards animal. Although the protection and welfare of animals are growing in the EU and many other counties, the protection and welfare of animals in our country are insufficient. There are no reference about animal``s status in Civil law or constitutional law. And animals are only possessions of the owner. Thepunishment about animal abuse is relatively low, and the prosecution is rare. But animal abuse is a serious crime about dignity of all life. And Individuals Who abuse animals often are likely to abuse humans, This connection is often called as the link.Many research and scholarship has focused on the link and its effects. As a result, man``s inhumanity to man often begins with inhumanity to those creatures that have formed particularly close relationships with mankind. So animal abuse is no longer insignificant matter to freedom of human. Consequentially to be extricated from violence of all kinds that destroys dignity of human, it is strongly recommended to punish animal abuse in reasonable standard.
