한국과 미국 대학상담센터의 현황 = Review of Current Conditions of University and College Counseling Centers in Korea and The United States

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study reviewed the administrative and organization structures, utilization rates, personnel, and budgets of university and college counseling centers in Korea and the United States. The majority of centers in Korea were integrated within Human Resource Development Center(24.2%). The half of the centers in the United States were independently operated and the other half were housed under Health Care Services. Approximately 10% of student populations used centers both in Korea and the States. In Korea, 69.2% of employees were full-time. Full-time staff including interns in the United States were 8.2 persons, one staff member per 1,738 students. This study provided the basic data about the current conditions of university and college counseling centers in Korea and the United States.
