The paper analyses the degree of labor market discrimination experienced by persons with disabilities and offers recommendations regarding how to counter such discrimination. In addition to examining previous comparative studies of nations such as the USA, Great Britain and Korea completed by UN agencies such as the ILO, the research focuses on help-wanted ads posted on the internet. The results of this research can be summarized as follows: 1. In order to reduce employment discrimination of individuals with disabilities, a specific Disability Discrimination Law should be enacted, while other relevant labor laws should be revised accordingly. 2. Programs and services focused on preventing such discrimination are suggested. 3. A committee or task force should be created to process and adjudicate claims of discrimination. 4. Social movements designed to reduce this discrimination should be encouraged, while voluntary compliance with anti-discrimination laws should be urged.
