This thesis studied a reeducation movement for ex-sex workers and a stigma on sex workers in novels focused on Fancy Hell written by Kim Mal-bong and The Night of Truth written by Park Kye-ju. The purpose of the paper analyzed a stigma on sex workers following the perspective of a hero and a heroin who run reeducation institutes for ex-sex workers, and a radical reason why they did not care about the problem of stigma. Also, this thesis researched the reason why they did not know fully the harmful effect from a hasty trial of the abolition policy for a state-regulated prostitution. Two novels have different positions when they regarded the abolition policy and sex workers, but they shared a discriminative perspective to sex workers. It connected to the conclusion that ex-sex workers should work out their salvation by their efforts. These conclusions related to political position of these novels`` authors as the right.
