This article is to react professor Kang``s article about objectivism``s challenges to Constructivism published in previous version of <Journal of Educational Technology>, 1997. According to the five issues of prof. Kang``s article, the author tried to present the way to understand studies related to Constructivism and implication s for in structional designers of the studies. Some issues and personal perspectives were added to the issues. The author suggests that there are two kinds of approaches to handle the objectivism and constructivism paradigm issues: philosophical(epistemological) approach and methodologicall approach. Instructional designers need to focus the methodological approach which is to gain practical principles from the theories as well as epistemological approach. Also, there can be three different position s to perceive the value of objectivism and constructivism: Objectivist ``s position, Constructivist`` s position, and eclectic position. Every person will have different position according o their philosophy and personal preferences, but in structional designer s need to be flexible to choose appropriate approach according to objectives, tasks, and in structional situation s.
