    The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between forms of passion(harmonious and obsessive) and psychological well-being, and whether these relationships are mediated by activity involvement. Participants were 187 affinity members who attended mountain climbing and parasitic volcanos climbing in Jeju province. These participants completed the passion scale, psychological well-being scale and climbing activities involvement. Data analysis were conducted through SPSS 18.0, SPSS PROCESS Macro statistical program. The results were as follows. First, harmonious passion was positively associated with feeling of self-realization, sense of competence, sense of flow, hedonic enjoyment directly, while obsessive passion was positively associated with sense of flow and feeling of self-realization. Second, harmonious passion was positively associated with activity involvement, but obsessive passion had a non-significant negative effect. Third, the relationship between harmonious passion and hedonic enjoyment and sense of competence was partially mediated by activity involvement.
