초등학교 교과 교육과정 체제에서의 통합적 접근 및 교육과정 유연화의 방향 탐색 = A Study of the Direction of the Integrative Approach & Relaxation of Time Allotment System in Elementary Subject-matter Curriculum

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, in finding out the plan for the innovation of the national school curriculum framework, I focused on that on which direction the framework of the national school curriculum should be innovated. First, I analysed whether certain critical perspectives and needs for innovation in relation to the frame consisting of the curricular and the extra-curricular curriculum are or not. Second, I probed the innovation plan in order to pursue variations of education, promoting autonomy about organizing and implementing of the curriculum of each school focusing on the time allotment standards of the national curriculum. Delphi technique was applied about the theme of this study to 35 panels of educational specialists. Systematic survey was performed to 54 elementary schools, using education statistics sampling service so as to research opinions about the innovation of the system of essential subjects from the view-points of elementary school teachers who teach several subjects. The result of this study is related to the needs of integration of some subject-matters in elementary schools including practical arts and moral. In this article, the possibilities of alternative integration was emphasized. Elementary school subject-matter curriculum should be innovated from the implementation of integrated curriculum provided from national level to the integrative approach based on interdisciplinary approach.
