It is necessary to teach having a creative problem solving ability in a new way for adapting any change because it is impossible to manage every problematic situation shows up next. In that sense, science creative problem solving ability can be improved through systematic training, thus it is important for developing the ability through teaching-learning program. The purpose of this study is to determine if the program helps to improve the students`` creative problem solving ability. For this, among the forensic science, the biotechnology was analyzed using evidence in court for criminal investigation; the teaching-learning program was composed of 4 topics (12 periods) of class according teaching types based on idea producing and problem-solving teaching-learning model similar to thinking process of scientists. Therefore, gifted-in students of S high school were tested on their science creative problem solving abilities and the developed teaching-learning program was applied to them, then examine if the program improved the abilities, also, the thinking process of the students was analyzed qualitatively using the students`` performance work sheets and interview data. The results of this study are as follows: First, this teaching-learning program was effective on improving for flexibility and fluency in the general creativity of the gifted-in students. Second, the students experienced an activity and thinking process centered class through forensic science contents. Third, the result of qualitative analysis on student’s work sheets was shown to improve student’s creative problem solving ability after class. Although the students were limited and passive thinking at first, they found out the problem themselves and having active thought in the end of class. Forth, the results of analysis for the evaluation of the gifted-in high school students’ responses to this teaching-learning program showed that their creativity solving ability was improved. Therefore, it goes to show that this teaching-learning program by using forensic science is effective for students to increase their creative problem solving ability.
