The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of social support on the parenting stress among international marriage migrant women. The survey was carried out with 310 migrant women having children in five cities of Gyeonggi province. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 20.0. As a result, the level of parenting stress perceived by migrant women was moderate. Among formal and informal social support variables, child care support service and spousal support were significantly affected parenting stress. Migrant women who utilized child care support service had higher level of parenting stress while they had lower level of parenting stress with higher husband support. Based on these results, the practical and policy implications have been suggested for the efforts to reduce parenting stress.
