자유학기제에 따른 현장체험 경험에 대한 중학생들의 의식과 태도 분석|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 자유학기제에 따른 현장체험 경험에 대한 중학생들의 의식과 자연에 대한 태도를 분석하기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 2014년 9월 2주간 순천대학교 주관으로 운영한 자유학기제에 따른 현장체험경험에 참여한 50명의 중학생이다. 이 연구에서는 학생들의 야외체험활동에 대한 의식과 자연에 대한 태도를 조사했고, 기존 야외체험활동 경험이 있는 집단과 야외체험활동 경험이 없는 집단 간에 차이가 있는지를 t-검증을 통해 분석하였다. 자유학기제에 따른 현장학습에 대한 관심도를 조사한 결과 야외현장 활동 경험이 있는 학생 집단의 평균 점수가 경험이 없는 학생 집단에 비해 높게 나타났으며, t-검증 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 자유학기제에 따른 현장체험활동과 교실수업과의 관계에 대해 야외체험활동 경험이 있는 학생들이 야외체험활동의 가치를 더 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자유학기제에 따른 현장학습을 통한 자연에 대한 태도에서는 야외체험 활동 경험이 있는 집단과 경험이 없는 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않는다. 따라서 지속적으로 자유학기제에 따른 현장학습 프로그램을 운영한다면 학생들의 자연에 대한 태도 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것으로 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research was to analyze the awareness and attitudes for nature of middle school students toward free semester field trip experiences. The subject of this research consisted of 50 students who participated in free semester field trip experiences for two weeks in September 2014 which were run by Sunchon National University. In this research, the awareness and attitudes of the students in relation to field-trip activities were examined and the differences between a group with a prior experience of field-trip activities and a group with no experience of field-trip activities were analyzed using t-test. According to the investigation on the students’interest in free semester field trip experiences, the group with an experience of field-trip activities exhibited a higher average score than the group with no such experience. A t-test confirmed that the above difference between the groups was statistically significant. Moreover, in terms of the relations between free semester field trip experiences and classroom teaching, the students with an experience of field-trip activities were revealed to recognize the value of field-trip activities more highly than the student with no such experience. In terms of attitudes for nature, according to free semester field-trip experiences, no statistically significant differences were observed between the group with an experience of field-trip activities and the group with no experience. Therefore, the consistent operation of free semester field-trip experiences is expected to have a positive effect on the improvement in the attitudes for nature of students.
