구조방정식모형에서 적합도지수의 해석과 모형적합 전략에 대한 논의 = Discussions on the Suitable Interpretation of Model Fit Indices and the Strategies to Fit Model in Structural Equation Modeling

Recently, the structural equation model is one of the most widely used data analysis techniques from very diverse fields. In the process of structural equation modeling, the evaluation of a theoretical model is to decide whether to accept a model of researchers to be relevant, so is a very important process. But, since, as a general rule, the evaluation of a theoretical model is done by goodness of fit indices, the suitable interpretation of model fit indices and the strategies to select a good model is a very important part. In this study, investigating papers published by Journal of the Korean Data Analysis Society and a few journal during the last year, the goodness of fit indices mainly reported is analyzed and several errors appeared in these papers were examined. As a result, in the structural equation modeling, the things to be careful in fitting a model and useful strategies that can be used to get the model with an excellent goodness-of-fit are proposed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

구조방정식모형은 최근 매우 다양한 분야에서 가장 광범위하게 사용되는 자료분석 기법 중 하나이다. 구조방정식모형의 분석과정 중 이론모형에 대한 평가는 연구자의 모형을 타당한 것으로 받아들일 것이냐를 결정하는 것이므로 매우 중요한 과정이다. 그런데, 일반적으로 적합도지수들에 의해서 이론모형에 대한 평가가 이루어지므로 적합도지수에 대한 올바른 해석과 좋은 모형을 선택하기 위한 전략은 매우 중요한 부분이라고 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 최근 1년 동안 Journal of the Korean Data Analysis Society 등에 게재된 논문들을 조사하여 주로 보고되는 적합도지수들을 분석하였으며, 이들 논문에서 나타나는 몇 가지 오류들을 검토하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 구조방정식모형을 이용하는 연구자들이 모형설정 시 주의해야 할 사항들과 적합도가 우수한 모형을 설정하기 위해 사용될 수 있는 유용한 전략을 제시한다.
