This study has following objectives: First, it attempted to investigate the effects of flight attendants`` job characteristics on job satisfactions and turnover intentions. Second, it is to test mediated effects of job satisfactions. Ultimately, it aimed to identify factors to consider in flight attendants`` job design. Data is collected by a survey conducted on domestic ‘K’ airline and finally 224 cases used for the analysis. In order to assess reliability and validity of the scales, Cronbach``s alpha and exploratory factor analysis were used, respectively. From the results of multiple regression analyses, some aspects of flight attendants`` job characteristics(i.e. task significance, feedback) were found positive impacts on job satisfactions, whereas some aspects of flight attendants`` job characteristics(i.e. autonomy, feedback) as well as extrinsic value of job satisfactions have a negative significant impacts on turnover intention. In addition, job satisfactions mediated effects of feedback on turnover intentions. In conclusion, it is partially supported that flight attendants`` job characteristics have impacts on job satisfactions and turnover intentions.
