사회적 지지와 지역사회 사회자본이 미취학 아동의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 관한 탐색적 연구 = An Exploratory Study on the Influence of Social Support and Community Social Capital on Preschool Children`s Self-Efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

자기효능감은 삶을 성공적으로 이끌기 위해 필요한 정서이므로 아동에게 특히 중요한 데, 아동의 자기효능감에 영향을 주는 요인의 하나가 사회적 지지이다. 그러나 선행연구 에서는 가족?또래?교사 지지에는 주목한 반면, 지역사회 수준의 사회적 지지에는 주 목하지 않는 경향이 있었다. 지역사회 수준의 사회적 지지를 정확히 측정하는 도구가 없 는 상황에서, 지역사회 지지와 관련이 있는 개념이 지역사회 사회자본이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가족?또래?교사 지지와 지역사회 사회자본이 아동의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과, 지역사회 사회자본은 아동의 자기효능감에 가장 크 게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이에 따른 실천적?정책적 제언을 제 시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Self-efficacy is an essential element for a successful living and thus exercises considerable influence on health. It is especially important to children. Social support has been one of the determinants for self-efficacy. Hence so far, various types of social support from the family, peers, and teachers have received a great deal of attention. Yet, little attention has been paid to the community-level social support. Community social capital has been frequently used as a proxy for community-level social support. In such a context, this study examines the influence of family-, peer-, teacher-level social support and community social capital on preschool children`s self-efficacy. The results indicate that all types of social support and community social capital have influence on the self-efficacy. Particularly, community social capital determines self-efficacy to a large extent. Some implications are suggested.
