평저토기문화권 신석기후기 서부지역의 뇌문토기 고찰 = A study on the ceramics with lightning design in the western region of the flat bottom pottery cultural area of the Late Neolitic Age

국문 초록 (Abstract)

평저토기문화권의 뇌문토기는 이중구연토기와 함께 이 문화권의 신석기후기에만 확인되는 유물로서 지역간의 병행관계를 밝힐 수 있는 유물이다. 최근 평저토기문화권의 서부지역인 남보력고토 유적에서 두 유물이 출토되면서, 요서지역도 평저토기문화권 신석기 후기의 특징을 공유하고 있다고 판단된다. 특히 이 지역의 뇌문토기는 두만강 유역에 영향을 준 것으로 알려졌지만, 그 지역범위가 한반도 서북지방으로 국한되어서 평저토기문화권 서부지역 뇌문토기를 고찰하기에는 한계점이 있었다. 따라서 본고에서는 최근 뇌문토기가 출토된 요서지역부터 한반도 서북지방까지 뇌문토기의 변천과정 및 병행관계 등을 살펴보고 이 문화권의 서부지역과 동부지역도 비교하고자 한다. 평저토기문화권 서부지역 뇌문토기는 동부지역과는 달리 대부분 호형이다. 동고대산 뇌문토기는 공반유물로 보아서 가장 이른 시기의 것인데, 동체부가 장동형이며, 뇌문문양은 요철이나 꼬임 모양이다. 다음 단계는 곽가촌, 쌍학리, 석불산 1 유적에서 출토되며 동고대산에 비해서 동체부가 둥글고 시문범위가 경부까지 넓어지고, 뇌문문양은 능형이나 삼각형 등으로 다양해진다. 마지막 단계의 뇌문토기는 남보력고토, 신암리(1지점) 유적의 출토품이다. 호형에 파수가 부착되며, 복합문양이 시문되는 것이 특징이다. 특히 남보력고토의 것은 전형적인 소하연문화의 토기 기형에 시문되기도 한다. 신암리 유적의 토기는 뇌문 이외의 문양요소가 함께 시문되어 압록강 유역의 특징이 도드라지는데, 서부지역 내에서도 압록강 유역과 요서지역이 각각 발전하는 것으로 보인다. 평저토기문화권의 신석기후기는 요서지역에서 청천강까지 서부지역과 두만강에서 아무르 강 하류까지의 동부지역에서 출토되는 이중구연토기와 뇌문토기 뿐 만 아니라 양 지역 간의 여러 가지 문화양상에 차이가 있는데 전환기 연구를 위해서 밝혀져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The artifact that represents synchronism of the flat bottom pottery culture area of the late Neolithic age is the pottery with lightning design and the double-rimed pottery. The Sohayeon culture of the Yoseo region, western part of this culture area, was not concerned, however, these potteries are found in the Nanbao Ligaotu site, this area also corresponds to this pottery culture area. In this paper, by studying the pottery with lightning design from Chengchen river to Liaoxi area, the origin, the process and chronology of this pottery is checked. The earlist pottery of the western part is excavated in Donggodaesan site. The pottery with lightning
design is separated into the Ho(壺) type and the Bal(鉢) type, the most pottery of the western part is the Ho type. The Bal type is found in the east Gaotaisan site and the Dangsan shellmound site, it is different with the Ho type. The pottery of Donggodaesan site of the Ho type lightning design pottery is the earlist, it is long and the motive is uneven design or twisting design. The next phase, the pottery is round and the designed part is wider, the motive of design is diamond or triangle. It is excavated in the Gaojiacun, Sanghakli and Sifosan 1 phase. The last phase, it is found in the , Nanbao Ligaotu, Sinamli site. A handle is attached in the Ho type pottery, the design is complex. Especially, various design is attached except lightning design in the pottery of the Sinamli site. It is deveoped in the area of Aprok river and Liaoxi area. The pottery with lightning design and the double-rimed pottery is found in the flat bottom pottery culture area of the late Neolithic age, the form and the design as well as the origin of these two type potteries are also different.
