청소년의 대인관계 역량에 영향을 미치는 요인 = A study on the Factors Influencing Interpersonal Competence of Youths -Focusing on the Effects of Social Capital-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 대인관계 역량에 미치는 사회자본의 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울시 A구에 소재한 4개 중학교에 재학중인 학생으로 총 1,147명의 자료를 사용하였다. 청소년의 가족, 학교, 지역사회에서 형성된 사회자본이 대인관계 역량에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였고 분석결과 가족 내 사회자본에서는 부모·자녀 애착관계, 학교 내 사회자본에서는 학교생활만족, 지역사회 사회자본에서는 동네 참여활동과 동네에 대한 인식이 청소년의 대인관계 역량에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 청소년의 대인관계 역량에 대한 사회자본의 영향력을 확인할수 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 대인관계 역량을 높일 수 있는 가족, 학교, 지역사회 사회자본의 실천적, 정책적 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of social capital on the interpersonal competence of youths. A battery of questionnaires was distributed to 1,147 students attending four middle schools in the same district in Seoul. Hierarchical regression analysis was used to examine the effects of social capital in the family, at school, and in the community on youths’interpersonal competence. The results indicated that the main forms of social capital that influence the interpersonal competence of youths are as follows: in the family context, their bonds with their parents; in the school context, their satisfaction with school life; and in the community context, their participation in neighborhood activities and their perceptions of the neighborhood. Through the analysis, this study confirmed the effects of social capital on the interpersonal competence of youths and discussed implications for practice and policy for enhancing social capital in the family, at school, and in the community in order to improve youths’interpersonal skills.
