유아 서번트 리더십 교육프로그램이 유아인성 증진에 미치는 영향 = Impacts of an Early Childhood Servant Leadership Program on the Personality Development of Preschoolers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 사회의 급속한 변화와 전통적 가치의 붕괴, 가정 해체, 청소년들의 일탈행동증가로 인하여 인성에 대한 정의적 접근이 강화되었고, 협동학습, 프로젝트 학습 등 협동을 요하는 교육방식이 강화되면서, 가정과 학교, 지역사회가 연계된 지역사회 봉사활동, 자원봉사 등 실천과 체험위주의 인성교육이 강화됨에 따라 타인에 대한 이해심과 배려 및 긍정적 사고 교육에 효과적인 서번트 리더십 교육 프로그램은 타인인식능력과 정서인식능력, 문제해결능력 증진에 중점을 두는 인성 증진과 일맥상통하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구는 유아 서번트 리더십 프로그램의 교육 진행을 통해 유아의 인성 증진에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 검증하기 위해 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하여 인성의 변화 정도 검사를 사전검사와 사후검사로 나누어 실시하며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS ver. 18을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 앞에서 제기한 연구문제들에 대해 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 즉, 연구문제 1인 유아 서번트 리더십 프로그램 교육에 의한 유아의 전체적 인성증진에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 연구문제 2, 3, 4인 인성척도를 구성하는 하위요인인 타인인식능력 및 정서인식능력, 문제해결 능력의 인성요소들에 대해서도 각각 .00 유의수준에서 유의미한 영향력이 있음을 확인할 수 있는 한편, 교사가 유아의 인성 증진을 목적으로 하는 유아 서번트 리더십 교육프로그램의 습득 및 현장 적용의 활용이 보다 활발하게 이뤄질 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

More affective approaches have lately been taken toward personality education than before due to rapid social changes, collapse of conventional values, family disorganization and growing youth deviant behavior. At the same time, the kind of education that requires cooperation such as cooperative learning and project learning is prevailing. Accordingly, practice-centered, hands-on personality education that calls for collaboration among families, schools and local communities is provided. Community service and volunteer work are good examples of this approach. A servant leadership education program is effective at teaching learners to understand others, to be considerate and to think positively, and this sort of program can make a contribution to the development of personality involving awareness of others' feelings, emotional awareness and problem-solving skills. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of an early childhood servant leadership program on the personality development of preschoolers. After the selected preschoolers were divided into an experimental group and a control group, a pretest and a posttest were conducted to look for changes in their personality. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS 18. The major findings of the study were as follows. On the other hand, teachers should acquire how to conduct an early childhood servant leadership education program and should provide it for preschoolers to have a fine personality. A nationwide research should be implemented by selecting infants and preschoolers from every part of the nation in the future, and regional characteristics should be taken into account. In order to step up the personality development of infants and preschoolers, more systematic servant leadership education programs should be developed, and their effects should carefully be tested.
