대학생이 지각한 부모-자녀 관계에서의 기본 심리적 욕구 만족감이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 = Effects of Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction in Parent-Child Relationships on Subjective Well-being in University Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 Deci와 Ryan(2000, 2002a, 2002b)의 자기결정이론에 바탕을 두고 부모-자녀 관계 기본 심리적 욕구 만족 척도(BPNS in Parent-Child Relationships)를 개발하고 이러한 심리적 욕구 만족이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한소영과 신희천(2006)의 커플 기본 심리적 욕구 중요성 척도 20문항을 수정하여 예비문항을 제작한 뒤, 대학생 집단을 대상으로 예비 척도를 실시하였다. 확증적 요인분석과 문항분석을 통해 18문항이 확정되었으며, 연구자의 가설과 같이 척도가 자율성, 관계성, 유능성의 3요인 구조로 이루어졌음이 확인되었다. 척도의 타당화 검증을 위해 애착척도(IPPA-R), 자기효능감척도(SES)와의 상관 분석을 실시한 결과, 적절한 공존타당도를 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 부모-자녀 관계에서 느끼는 기본 심리적 욕구 만족이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 효과를 살펴보기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 삶의 만족과 정적 정서에는 아버지와의 관계에서 느끼는 욕구만족의 설명량이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 부적 정서에는 어머니와의 관계에서 느끼는 욕구만족의 설명량이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과에서 나타난 욕구 만족이 안녕감에 미치는 영향에 대한 문화적 보편성․차이점, 그리고 이론적․치료적 의의를 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to develop the Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction Scale(BPNS) in Parent-Child Relationships and to examine the effects of needs satisfaction on feelings of subjective well-being in university students. Confirmatory factor analysis and item analysis indicated 3 factor-structure of the scale: autonomy, competence, and relatedness, and the concurrent validity of the scale was supported by the correlation analysis. The results of regression analysis showed that needs satisfaction in father-child relationships was the significant predictor of life satisfaction and positive emotions, and needs satisfaction in mother-child relationships was that of negative emotions. Theoretical and therapeutic implications on the results of this study were discussed.
