장애에 대한 인식과 자아존중감이 발달장애아동의 사회성숙도에 미치는 영향

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of the awareness of disorder and self-esteem on their childrens social maturity who have developmental disabilities. The research questions for the research purposes are as follows.
First, are there relationships among awareness of disorder, self-esteem and their childrens social maturity?
Second, how do the awareness of disorder and self-esteem affect their childrens social maturity who have developmental disabilities?
For the study 100 mothers sampled from B center in Gwang-ju Metropolitan City who have a child with developmental disabilities. The data from 75 mothers have been analyzed for the study using SPSS 18.0
The conclusions based on results and discussion are as follows.
First, there are positive correlation among awareness of disorder, self-esteem, and their childrens social maturity. It means the higher awareness of disorder and self-esteem, the higher social maturity of children with developmental disabilities.
Second, awareness of disorder and sub-factors of self-efficacy which are awareness of disorder, hardship, manage strategy and future prospect, affect social maturity.
Therefore, awareness of disorder and self-esteem should be improved to make the social maturity of children with developmental disabilities higher.
