한국 청소년의 최초 가출 발생시점에 영향을 미치는 생태 체계적 요인에 대한 검증 : 비연속 시간 생존분석의 적용 = A Discrete-Time Survival Analysis Approach to Testing the Effects of Ecological Systematic Factors on the Onset of Adolescents' Runaway

The purpose of the present study was to reexamine using survival analysis the effects of variables on the onset of adolescents' runaway, which were found to be statistically significant in previous cross-sectional studies. Using the Korean Youth Panel data (n=3118), discrete-time survival analysis was applied for the research goal. Results showed that the possibility of the onset of adolescents' runaway increased sharply during early middle school years. Among the 27 variables selected based on the results of previous studies, self-control, aggression, abuse from father, attachment with parents, and the number of delinquent peers were found to be significantly associated with the possibility. Based on the results, we suggest that special attention should be paid to adolescents in the early middle school years and that various prevention programs, e.g., aggression and stress management program, peer relation program, should be developed and provided.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국청소년의 최초 가출발생시점을 살펴보고, 그 동안 횡단연구를 통해 가출발적으로 영향을 미치는 지 여부를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구 목적을 위해, 비연속시간 생존분석으로 청소년패널조사 데이터(총 3,18명)를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 최초의 가출행동을 저지개의 독립변수 중 자아통제, 공격성, 아버지로부터의 신체적 학대, 부모와의 애착 및 비행친구 수, 5개의 독립변수만 매 학년에서의 가출행동 가능성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 특별한 관심이 필요하며, 청소년들에게 분노조절, 스트레스 관리 등과 같은 예방프로그램, 가족기능 강화 프로그램, 교우관계 프로그램 및 다양한 여가문화 프로그램들을 확대하여 제공해야 할 것이다.
