국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 인터넷 과다사용 청소년들의 인터넷 사용과 관련된 자동적 사고 질문지를 개발하고, 이 검사의 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 인터넷 과다사용 청소년들로부터 인터넷 사용을 앞두고 머리에 떠오르는 다양한 자동적 사고를 추출하였다. 1차적으로 추출된 65개의 문항을 내용타당도를 거쳐 47개 문항의 질문지를 구성한 다음, 531명의 중?고교 청소년들을 대상으로 예비연구를 수행하였다. 이들 청소년들이 반응한 자료들을 요인분석을 통해 최종적으로 30개의 문항을 선정하여 ‘인터넷 과다사용 청소년의 자동적 사고 질문지’를 개발하였다. 이 질문지는 ‘긍정적 기대 및 심심풀이 시간활용’, ‘후회와 자책’, ‘게임을 통한 자신감 추구’, ‘가상공간에서의 친교 지향’의 4 요인구조를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 427명의 다른 청소년 집단에서 동일하게 나타났고, 인터넷 중독관련 척도들과도 유의한 상관관계가 나타나 타당도를 확인할 수 있었다. 내적합치도, 반분신뢰도 및 문항-총점 간 상관도 높게 나타났다. 따라서 ‘인터넷 과다사용 청소년의 자동적 사고 질문지’는 인터넷을 사용하는 청소년들의 자동적 사고들을 신뢰롭게 측정하는 도구라고 결론내릴 수 있다.

This study was undertaken to develop the Internet Overuse Adolescents's Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire (IOAATQ) and examine both the reliability and validity of this tool. The IOAATQ is a self-report measure designed to assess a wide range of internet related self-statements in adolescents. 30 items were finally selected, based on factor analysis performed upon 531 adolescents responses. The IOAATQ-30 contained four factors designated as ‘positive expectancy and time killing', ‘regret and self-accusation’, ‘self-confidence pursuit through gaming', and ‘intimacy inclination in cyber space'. The IOAATQ was highly reliable in terms of both internal consistency, and split-half reliability. It also exhibited good construct validity to the extent of showing statistically significant correlations with internet addiction related scales, and in terms of the same four factors appearing on 427 different samples.
