박근혜정부 체육정책의 방향과 과제 = Direction and Tasks of the Sport and Exercise Policy of the Geunhye Park Administration

This study seeks to examine the basic direction and task of the sports and exercise policy of the Geunhye Park administration based on government-published data.
The basic direction of the sport and exercise policy of the Geunhye Park administration is towards a new era of hope, national happiness by developing a sport and exercise culture that cultivates happiness, develops the economy, eliminates conflict, and increases national status. In other words, the key objective is cultural prosperity through involvement in sport.
Geunhye Park administration are the increased placement of exclusive teachers and instructors for the activation of sport and exercise in schools and the construction of basic infrastructures such as sport clubs and sports facilities. The placement of sports teachers in elementary schools and the participation of students in 1 student 1 sport activities are the most emphasized tasks. Second, the distribution of physical activity programs for toddlers in relation to the corporation certificate system, promotion of participation of female students in sports, the installation of childcare facilities in national sports centers, and the installation of combined call centers are also some of the policy tasks. Third, concerning the promotion of national competitiveness in the sports industry, the market's expansion through the symbiosis of life and elite sports, and the promotion of competitiveness through the advancement and fusion of the sports industry have been identified as the primary institutional tasks. Fourth, the use of winter sports for tourism promotion and the activation of bicycle tourism have been proposed as new institutional tasks for realizing added value to Korean tourism. Fifth, establishment of the brand of Korea through culture based on sports exchanges between the South and North and support for ODA.
