다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In an effort to understand China's policy for North Korean nuke, this study made a comparative analysis of the response shown by China immediately after North Korea's 3-time execution of nuclear test from various levels. This study set up Chinese authorities & leaders' comments, China's position on the UN Security Council's Resolutions process of the sanctions against North Korea, China's direct political, economic pressure on North Korea, and the responses of the Chinese mass media and experts, etc, as the objects for major analysis. Through such an analysis, it's learned that the more North Korea's nuclear test continues, China's political pressure on North Korea has been intensified and the same country's media and experts' attitudes towards North Korea considerably get worse; however, China was found to be passive in directly implementing sanctions on North Korea. In addition, the external policy of the Xi Jinping Government in pursuit of a New Type of Major-Power Relationship is also likely to adhere to the existing position on North Korean nuclear problem; therefore, it's judged that it might be difficult for China's policy for follow-up North Korean nuclear problems to be greatly changed.
