유아기 부모를 위한 심리적 통제 양육 척도 (Psychological Controlled Parenting Scale for Childhood parent: PCPSC) 개발 연구 = Development and validation of Psychological Controlled Parenting Scale for Childhood parent(PCPSC)

The purpose of this study was to test the reliability and validity of the PCPSC(Psychological Controlled Parenting Sacle for Childhood parent) for measuring psychological controlled parenting. Although considerable research has been devoted to parenting, rather than less attention has paid to parental psychological control. A total of 312 parents with 3 to 5 years of age participated in this study. Exploratory factor analysis show that the PCPSC consists of 31 items and 5 factors. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated good model fit which suggests good construct validities. All factors in the PCPSC demonstrate proper internal consistency, and there is significant correlation between sub-dimension scores and total scores. Futhermore, the results of construct validity analysis showed PCPSC was significantly correlated with the measure of IPBI(Iowa Parent Behavior Inventory). In conclusion, the PCPSC have been validated as useful tools for assessing psychological control parenting of a parent.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구에서는 유아기 부모 양육의 측면 중 상대적으로 관심을 받지 못한 ‘심리적 통제 양육’을 측정하기 위한 척도를 개발하고 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기 지역의 유치원 및 어린이집에 소속되어 있는 만 3-5세 부모 312명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 문항분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 심리적 통제 양육 척도(PCPSC)는 28개 항목 5개 요인구조가 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 구조방정식 모형으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 척도의 요인구조는 양호한 것으로 검증되었다. 내적합치도와 신뢰도 계수를 산출한 결과 역시 통계적으로 양호한 수준으로 나타났다. 셋째, 공인타당도 검증을 위해 부모 양육을 측정하는 준거 관련 척도와 상관관계 분석을 실시한 결과, 통계적으로 유의한 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아기 부모를 위한 심리적 통제 양육 척도는 부모의 심리적 통제와 자율성지지, 동일체적 양육을 측정하기에 적합한 도구임을 확인하였다.
