지역사회 치안서비스품질과 지역사회주민의 생활만족의 관계 = Public Peace Service Quality of the Regional Community and Relation with the Life Satisfaction of Residents of the Regional Community

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose Purpose:: The purpose of this study is to establish the service quality of public peace management in the regional community and the relation with the life satisfaction of residents of the regional community. Methods: This study is based by setting general residents of Seoul in 2013 and using the stratified cluster random sampling method to analyze a total amount of 203 examples. The frequency analysis, analysis on primary factors, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis methods using SPSSWIN 18.0 were used in analysis. The reliability of the survey showed a Cronbach Cronbach’’s αα value of over 0.910. Conclusion: First, there was a difference in the public peace service quality based on socio-demographical factors of residents of the regional community. While the female group perceived an overwhelmingly high number of street CCTV facilities, the perceiving idea of police public peace services was high in the male group. Moreover, in difference in age stratification, people in their twenties perceived a higher number of street CCTV facilities while people in their forties perceived a high amount of police public peace services. Second, there was a difference in the life satisfaction of residents of the regional community based on socio-demographical factors. There was a higher safety satisfaction in the male group. In difference in age stratification, people in their forties showed a high safety satisfaction, while people in their thirties showed a high life satisfaction. Safety satisfaction based on academic ability was highest in the college graduate group and the safety satisfaction based on job was highest in the housewife group. Third, the public peace service quality affects the like satisfaction. Thus, the better police public peace services are proceeded, the higher the values of safety satisfaction and life satisfaction.
