자아정체감과 사회적 지지가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = Effects of Self-Identity and Social Support on the Leve of Career Decisions : The Mediating Effect of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 비서학전공 전문대학생을 중심으로 자아정체감, 사회적 지지, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결정수준을 알아보고 변인들 간의 경로차이가 존재하는지 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 그리고 자아정체감과 사회적 지지가 각각 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 본 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 서울과 수도권 소재 전문대 학생들을 대상으로 329부의 설문지를 수거하여 구조방정식 모형분석을 사용하여 검증하였다.
첫째, 연구 변인들간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 자아정체감, 사회적 지지, 진로결정자기효능감의 각 변인과 진로결정수준은 모두 정적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 자아정체감, 사회적지지, 진로결정자기효능감과 진로결정수준간의 영향관계를 분석한 결과, 자아정체감과 진로결정자기효능감은 진로결정수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었지만 사회적 지지는 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 자아정체감과 진로결정수준과의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과는 유효한 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 지지와 진로결정수준과의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 매개효과 또한 유효한 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 비서학전공 전문대학생들이 진로와 관련하여 명확하고 실현가능한 목표를 설정할 수 있도록 자아정체감을 확립하고, 나아가 자신의 진로문제에 대해 원활한 의사결정을 내릴 수 있도록 도와주어 진로결정자기효능감을 증진시켜 줄 수 있는 진로지도 및 교육프로그램을 기획하는 것이 필요하겠다. 특히 자아정체감이나 진로결정자기효능감은 한순간에 형성되는 것이 아닌 것을 고려하여 체계적이고 지속적인 지도가 필요할 것이다.

This study examines the existence of any path differences between students" self-identity (ego-identity), social support, career decision making self-efficacy, and career decision level (status) by considering college students in the department of secretarial studies. The research questions were as follows. Does self-identity affect career decision-making self-efficacy and the career decision level? Does social support affect career decision-making self-efficacy and the career decision level? Does career decision-making self-efficacy affect the career decision level? What is the mediating effect of career decision making self-efficacy on the relationship between self-identity and the career decision level? What is the mediating effect of career decision making self-efficacy on the relationship between social support and the career decision level?
Data were collected from professors, lecturers and teaching assistants from colleges in the department of secretarial studies in Seoul and the Seoul metropolitan area. A total of 329 responses were considered.
First, self-identity had positive effects on career decision-making self-efficacy and the career decision level. Social support had a positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy but a negative effect on the career decision level. Career decision-making self-efficacy had a positive effect on career decision level. Self-identity had a positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy, and career decision-making self-efficacy had a positive mediating effect on the career decision level. Social support had a positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy, and career decision-making self-efficacy had a mediating effect on the career decision level.
