스마트폰뱅킹 활성화를 위한 모바일 지갑 서비스 개발 = 하나은행 N Wallet 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정보통신기술의 발달로 금융 산업 내 인터넷과 새로운 플랫폼을 기초한 신서비스 제공이 확대되고 있다. 이러한 환경 속에서 스마트폰 뱅킹이 확산되면서 스마트폰 기술과 연계된 다양한 금융 서비스가 개발되고 있으며, 특히 통합된 결제 시스템의 편의성을 강조하는 모바일 지갑은 스마트폰 뱅킹 활성화에 중요한 쟁점이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 금융기관 최초로 모바일 지갑을 출시한 하나은행 N Wallet 사례를 Menor and Roth(2007) ‘개발 프로세스’, ‘서비스 전략’, ‘시장 지향성’, ‘개발 문화’, ‘정보 기술’의 다섯 가지 신서비스 성공 요인을 기반으로 분석하여 스마트폰 뱅킹 활성화를 위한 모바일 지갑 서비스 개발 성공 전략을 제시하고자 했다. 결과적으로 하나은행 N Wallet의 경우 최고 전문가 집단의 신속한 의사결정 및 소통을 바탕으로 철저한 시장과 사용자 조사를 통한 서비스 설계와 흥미 유발이 가능한 독창적인 서비스 개발을 이루었다. 또한, 스마트폰 시장 활성화라는 목표 아래 적극적인 기업 지원을 바탕으로 신기술 개발보다는 사용자의 이용을 극대화할 수 있는 기술 융합을 통해 성공을 이뤄냈다는 특징을 보여준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The using of mobile phone banking service has promoted by the remarkable growth of smartphone users. The banks have believed that it will bring the changes in the banking services by the various services types. As the new smartphone banking service, mobile wallet service became an important service channel in the banking market. This paper presents the successful case study of mobile wallet service, ‘N Wallet by Hana bank’, based on the five approaches; ‘development process’, ‘market orientation’, ‘service planning’, ‘project management’, and ‘information technology’, as the critical success factors of new service by Menor and Roth(2007). Hence the case suggests that market trend reading and user research are the important processes to deliver the successful mobile wallet service, and supportable organizational culture and integrating user-based technologies are helpful to manage the mobile wallet service the successful.
