대학생의 근로 경험에 따른 학생 참여와 학습 성과 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학 재학 중의 근로 경험이 학생 참여와 학습 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 를 확인하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 근로 경험 및 인턴십 경험의 유무에 따라 학생을 세 집 단으로 구분하고 학생 참여와 학습 성과의 각 잠재변인에 대한 집단 간 차이를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 서울 시내의 한 대학에서 2학년 이상 대학생 567명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 세 집단 간 차이를 분석하기 위해 평균구조방정식모델 중에서도 MIMIC 모델링을 사용하였다. 연구 결과 근로 경험이 없는 집단(NW)에 비해 인턴십을 포함하지 않은 근로 경험을 한 집단 (NIW)은 교수학생 상호작용과 수업사고 및 학습태도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 근로 경 험을 한 집단 중에서도 인턴십을 포함하지 않은 근로 경험을 한 집단(NIW)에 비해 인턴십을 포함한 근로 경험을 한 집단(IW)이 리더십 및 대인관계 능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 이와 관련된 시사점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of work experiences during the college life on student engagement and learning outcomes. For this, we categorized students in three groups based on the work and internship experiences: Students without work or internship experiences (NW), students with work, but without internship experiences (NIW), and students with both work and internship experiences (IW). The sample consisted of 567 students in a university in Seoul, Korea. Using MIMIC(multiple indicator and multiple cause) model, a special case of general SEM model, we analyzed the differences of three groups in the relationship between work experiences and students engagement and learning outcomes. The results of this study indicated that the student groups with work experience but no internship experience (NIW) showed higher scores in student-faculty interaction and learning attitude than those of the student groups without any work experiences (NW). In addition, the student groups with internships but no work experiences (IW) showed higher scores in the leadership and interpersonal ability than those of the student groups with work experience but no internship experience (NIW). Related implications were discussed.
