사회복지전담공무원의 소진에 관한 질적 연구 = Phenomenological Study on the Burn Out Experience of Public Social Worker

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, Giorgi`s phenomenological method was used to explore in depth the burn out experience of public social workers from an insider perspective. In depth interviews were carried out on 10 public social workers (work experience; 4-24years). Analysis was performed according to Giorgi`s 4 stage phenomenological method. The results showed that the burn out experience of public social workers consisted of 151 meanings, 29 sub-categories, 10 structure factor. The final structure factor that were derived from the analysis were; ‘trauma from relations with the client’, ‘tension from the overflow and changes of work execution’, ‘exhaustion from the indifference and irrational treatment of the organization’, ‘limitations and dillema of working within the public social welfare system’, ‘limitation from inability to demonstrate expertise’, ‘Psychological/physical burnout and langour’, ‘Symptom presentation in family’, ‘losing the first intentions’, ‘difficulty in further pursuit of work’, ‘endurance by finding worth and offsetting’. Discussions and suggestions have been proposed in accordance with these results.
