사회적 기업 생태계와 정책 혁신: 진화론적 관점 = Social Enterprise Ecosystem and Policy Innovation: an Evolutionary Perspective

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to develop a conceptual model of social enterprise (SE) ecosystem from the perspective of evolution theory. This model is composed of innovation and market ecosystems. The innovation ecosystem with social and technological sub-systems makes a role to continuously feed the ideas of social innovation into the SE ecosystem and commercialize them. As a result, it brings to the enhancement of variety and innovativeness in our SE ecosystem. The market ecosystem with capital and product market contributes to effectively allocate resources to superior SEs and enhance the efficiency of SE ecosystem by promoting competition and cooperation among SEs. Based on this model, we assess the current status of Korean SE ecosystem. The result implies that our ecosystem shows poor market system and less variety of SEs. To overcome these challenges, we propose an alternative set of institutional policies to make the principles of evolution work normally in our SE ecosystem.
