청동기시대의 어로활동

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, I examined the fishing image based on the analysis of the fishing tool and a fewshell mound site of the South Korean Bronze Age. As a result, fishing tools of the inland areamainly consist of small fishing net sinker. And few sell mound of Bronze Age are found com-pared with those of the Neolithic Age and Early Iron Age. The background related to these twophenomena results from change in occupation activity in the Bronze Age.It is considered that fishing image was changed by the variation in occupation activity becauseof the population growth and change in location, in other words, the transition to active agricul-ture. The transition from Food Collection system to Food Production system(agricultural society)made the change in fishing tools, and this raised the overall change in occupation activities andsociety.Therefore, In Bronze Age, actively agriculture as the main occupation, fishing was changed toauxiliary measures of agriculture to be a main occupation, different to Neolithic Age. In otherwords, the inland fishery to take river as a fishing ground near the agricultural land was popular.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 청동기시대의 어로활동을 엿보기 위하여 어로구와 수 적게나마 발견되고 있는 패총유적에 대하여 검토한 것이다. 그 결과, 청동기시대의 어로구는 내륙지역을 중심으로 소형의 토제어망추가 주체를 이루고 있으며, 패총유적은 이 시대를 전후한 신석기시대와 초기철기시대에 비하여 패총의 발견예가 현저히 적다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 이 두 현상과 관련한 그 배경과 원인을 청동기시대의 생업활동의 변화 안에서 찾아보았다. 신석기시대에서 청동기시대로의 어로상의 변화는 인구증가와 유적의 입지조건 등의 변화에 동반하는 생업활동의 변천 곧, 농경의 본격화가 그 배경이었을 것으로 생각된다. 식량획득 사회에서 식량생산 사회(농경사회)로 전환되면서 어로구 구성이 변화하였는데, 생업활동의 장인 어장의 전면적인 변화에 기인한 생업 및 사회 전반에 변화가 발생하였다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 청동기시대의 어로는, 농경이 본격화되면서 어로를 생업의 주된 생계방법으로 이용해 오던 신석기시대와는 달리 농경의 보조적인 양상을 띠게 된 것으로 파악된다. 즉, 청동기시대에는 농경의 본격화로 인하여 경작지에서 가까운 크고 작은 하천을 어장으로 하는 내수면어로가 성행하게 되었던 것으로 생각된다.
