조기 종결된 청소년 상담에 대한 어머니의 내러티브 = The Mother`s Narrative about Premature Termination of Youth Counseling

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to understand the mother``s experiences and to explore how she understands and learns from premature termination of her teenaged daughter``s counseling using a qualitative research methodology. For these purposes, the mother was interviewed, and she looked back on difficult times when her daughter entered into adolescence, went through the counseling processes to solve their problems in relationship, gained insights from premature termination and on how the termination affected her life and daughter``s development. The data were analyzed using the procedure of Narrative Process Coding(Augus & Hardke, 1994). The results are as follows: ‘the peak of crisis between mother-child relationship’, ‘intolerance of the counseling progress’, ‘realizing her mistakes as a mother in depth’, ‘to accept that daughter``s experiences as they were’. The mother realized insights of their relationship through the process of teenaged daughter``s early terminated counseling with three perspectives: ‘time to start a meaningful relationship with daughter’, ‘space containing the relationship’, ‘becoming a better relationship’.
