대중스타의 인기 요인 및 지속가능성에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Keys to the Popularities of Popular Stars and their Sustainability : Focused on a Media-Framing Analysis on Hye-Soo Kim, a Korean Actress

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대한민국 톱스타인 김혜수의 섹시 이미지는 미디어와 대중에 의해 만들어진 허상이었다. 김혜수를 상징하는 여러 캐릭터 중 섹시 이미지가 과대포장된 것으로 분석됐다. 본 연구는 데뷔 이래 30년 가까이 톱스타로 군림하고 있는 김혜수의 인기 비결을 미디어프레임 분석을 통해 알아보았다. 언론에 노출된 김혜수는 크게 ‘섹시한 김혜수’와 ‘똑똑한 김혜수’로 프레이밍되고 있었다. ‘섹시한 김혜수’는 다시 ‘우리나라 최고의 노출 아이콘’과 ‘우리나라 최고의 건강미인’으로 분화되며, ‘똑똑한 김혜수’는 ‘지적인 여배우’와 ‘개념 있는 여배우’로 상관관계를 맺고 있었다. 또한 김혜수의 인기의 비결로는 대범하고 솔직함으로 귀결되고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Hye-Soo Kim, one of Korea’s top stars, has a sexy image but it is just an illusion created by media and the public. The sexy image, one of her characteristics images, has been blown out of proportion. With a media-framing analysis, this study looked into how Hye-Soo Kim had been enjoying the highest level of popularity for 30 years. In the press, she is framed as ‘a sexy woman’ and ‘an intelligent woman.’ The sexy image is divided into ‘a byword for revealing outfits in Korea’ and ‘the Korea’s healthiest beauty’ and the intelligent image correlates with ‘an intellectual actress’ and ‘a right-thinking actress.’ Another key to her popularity is concluded with generousness and frankness.
