The changes in our future society will not be simple changes merely in `the century` but changes in `the millenium`. It means that it will be a turning point in the paradigm of civilization which can change the big stream of human civilization. And school physical education will play a more important part in improving the quality of human life in future society. The purposes of this study are to forecast the changes of school physical education in the new millenium and explore the kinds of practice and research which can be helpful for the change. Especially, this study intends first to explore the development of achievement standards for students which are accompanied by improving the quality of school physical education. Second, it explores the changes in the teaching-learning methods in school physical education influenced by the emphasis on each individual student. And third, it explores the introduction of a new evaluation method for school physical education. Explorations in this study will be necessary in order to put school physical education into practice at each school. To anticipate probable changes and provide propositions for them would be very meaningful to the students, the teachers and the parents, all who are involved in the physical education of our children.
