베이비부머 예비은퇴자의 관계에 중심한 성공적 노화의 의미 = 기업체 CEO를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 기업체CEO인 베이비부머 예비 은퇴자의 관계에 중심한 성공적 노화의 의미를 연구하고, 베이비부머의 은퇴 후 성공적 노화를 위한 요인을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 1955년부터 1963년 출생 베이비부머 10명을 대상으로 심층 면접을 하여 자료를 수집하였다. 이들과 인터뷰한 자료들을 Strauss와 Corbin의 근거이론 자료 분석 방법으로 분석하여 96개의 개념과 30개의 하위범주, 9개의 범주로 코딩하였다. 연구 결과 베이비부머의 성공적 노화 요인은, 9개의 요인으로 구체화 되었다. 신체적 기능적 건강, 재정적 건강, 부부관계망, 자녀의 독립성, 사회적 관계망, 일의 가치전환, 타인 성공의 멘토, 은퇴의 패러다임 전환, 초월적 자아 등 9가지 요소를 성공적 노화를 이루는 기본 요인으로 보았다.

This study aims to look into meanings of relationship-focused successful aging of baby-boomer preliminary retirees who have been working as CEOs of companies, searching for factors to help these baby boomers with successful aging after their retirement. In order to achieve the research goal, the study collected data from in-depth interviews with a total of 10 baby boomers who were born between 1955 and 1963. The interviews were analyzed with the grounded theory data analysis method designed by Strauss and Corbin, and based upon what has been analyzed, the study coded the data into 96 concepts, 30 subcategories and nine categories. According to the results of the research, there are nine specific factors to help the baby boomers with their successful aging. The nine factors, here, should be physical functional health, financial health, husband and wife network, child independence, social network, occupational value conversion, being a mentor for a success of others, retirement paradigm shift and transpersonal self, and each of them was considered as a basic factor to lead the baby-boomer preliminary retirees to their successful aging.
