사회 문화적 영향, 신체불만족, 대처방식 및 이분법적 사고가 폭식행동과 절식행동에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Sociocultural Influence, Body Dissatisfaction, Coping and Dichotomous Thinking on Restriction and Bulimia

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 날씬한 체형에 대한 사회문화적 영향(부모, 또래, 미디어)과 신체불만족이 절식행동과 폭식행동에 미치는 과정에서 문제 중심적 대처방식과 정서 중심적 대처방식의 조절역할을 알아보았으며 절식행동이 폭식행동으로 발전하는데 이분법적 사고의 조절 역할을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 남녀 대학생 661명에게 사회문화적 영향 척도, 스트레스 대처 척도, 섭식장애 척도-2와 이분법적 사고 척도를 실시하였고 각 피험자의 키와 체중 및 다이어트 방법을 수집하였다. 연구결과, 여자는 날씬함에 대한 미디어와 부모의 압력을 많이 지각할수록 신체불만족이 높았고, 높은 수준의 신체불만족은 절식행동과 폭식행동과 관련이 있었다. 여자는 신체불만족과 절식행동의 관계에서 문제 중심적 대처가 조절효과를 보였으며 절식행동과 폭식행동의 관계에서 이분법적 사고가 조절 효과를 보였다. 남자는 날씬함에 대한 부모의 압력을 많이 지각할수록 신체불만족이 높았으며, 높은 신체불만족은 절식행동과 폭식행동 모두와 관련이 있었다. 남자는 신체불만족과 절식행동과의 관계에서 문제 중심적 대처가 조절효과를 보였으며 신체불만족과 폭식행동의 관계에서는 정서 중심적 대처가 조절효과를 보였다. 남자는 절식행동과 폭식행동과의 관계에서 이분법적 사고가 조절 효과를 가졌다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점, 향후 연구방향을 기술하였다.
