The time has come to buy and sell the fonts for internet to express one's own sensitivity. 21st century is the era of information as well as the aging society. The tendency has been progressing rapidly especially in Korea. As a result of this, the problems of the aged are social problems as well as household and individual problems. Among them, the gap of information has risen.
Not like the previous senior generation, the present seniors at the time of retirement participate in social meetings and pastime activities. They are also related to the administrative services for the real estate and investment. These kinds of life style are closely related to the practical use of internet. However, a lot of web sites are oriented for the young, so when the seniors have to check web sites, they should wear glasses or full their faces.
Due to the increase of the average life span, the age of the internet users also has increased. Therefore, this thesis reconfigured the concepts of seniors and the characteristics of their bodies and noticed that the seniors have to full their faces when they watch the letters on internet. This thesis also tried to help them when they use internet by considering the universal aspect when designig font for internet use. Therefore, I analysed Dodumchae which seniors prefer and suggested the developed and comfortable Korean font for internet which can help narrow the generation gap which is cause by the estrangement from the information in the era of information.
