      국문 초록 (Abstract)

      본 연구는 아동의 사회적 목표지향성의 유형과 수준에 따른 갈등해결전략과 친구관계의 질의 차이를 살펴보고, 사회적 목표지향성과 친구관계의 질 간의 관계에서 갈등대처전략이 매개효과를 갖는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구에서 사회적 목표지향성은 수행목표지향성과 학습목표지향성으로, 갈등해결전략은 4개의 하위요인(절충 및 협력, 회피, 지배, 양보)으로, 친구관계의 질은 긍정적 기능(정서적 안정, 신뢰, 도움, 친밀감, 인정, 회피)과 친구관계에 대한 만족감과 부정적 측면(갈등, 경쟁)으로 구별하였다.

      연구는 서울과 경기도 지역 초등학교 5-6학년 학생 714명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 실시되었다. 참가자들은 사회적 목표지향성 질문지와 갈등대처방식 질문지(FCRS), 친구관계의 질 질문지(FQSS)에 응답하였다.

      결과는 다음과 같다.
      첫째, 사회적 목표지향성 유형과 수준에 따른 갈등해결전략의 하위 요인 간 차이가 있었다. 즉, 학습목표지향성과 수행목표지향성이 수준에 따라 서로 다른 갈등해결전략에서 차이를 보였다.
      둘째, 사회적 목표지향성 유형과 수준에 따른 친구관계의 질의 차이가 있었다. 즉, 학습목표지향성과 수행목표지향성이 수준에 따라 서로 다른 친구관계의 질에서 차이를 보였다.
      셋째, 사회적 목표지향성과 친구관계의 질 간의 관계에서 갈등대처전략은 부분 매개효과가 있었다.

      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study is to investigate relationships between social goal orientation of child and friendship quality, and how conflict resolution strategies mediated those factors. In research, social goal orientation is divided in two factors, which is performance goal and learning goal. And the conflict resolution strategies is divided in four factors, compromising and integration, avoiding, Dominating, Obliging. friendship quality is divided three factors, which are positive function(emotional security, help, intimacy, reliable alliance, self-validation, stimulating companionship), satisfaction of friendship, and negative aspect(conflict, competition).
      For the study, 714 5th and 6th grade children were asked to complete Social Gal Oientation Sale, Friendship Quality Scale(FQS), Conflict Resolution Strategies Scale(FRSS).
      The data were analyzed by Pearson's correlations, variance, and hierarchical regression.

      The major results were as follow:
      First, there was difference between sub-factors of conflict strategy based on the type of social goal orientation.
      Second, there was difference between sub-factors of friendship quality based on the type of social goal orientation.
      Third, conflict resolution strategies mediated between social goal orientation and friendship quality.
