新世代 大學生 意識變化에 따른 寄宿舍 環境 改善에 관한 硏究 = (A) Study on the Betterment of Dormitory Environment according to the Change of Consciousness of New Generation University Students

Dormitory space in university facilities is the one in which both the educational function and the residential one should be provided(equipped). In this space, new generation university students who will become a pillar of society in the future get their living. Therefore, this paper would like to study on the plan direction of dormitory space through a questionnaire survey and a field investigation to grope for a scheme for the preparation of dormitory space corresponding to the change of their consciousness inclination and to their demands.
The results of this study can be arranged as follows;
First, the most priority demand in an individual unit room is the influx of restroom and washroom, shower room, being used jointly currently, into the unit room.
Second, in the individual unit room, the division of space should be made not to secure one's privacy so that several functions of sleeping, studying, and social intercourse can be separated.
Third, with the use of variable space and multi-purpose furniture, a space in which students can express their individuality according to personal inclination should be secured.
Fourth, a joint space should be divided on a large or small scale according to the size of users.
In case of large-sized grouping space, only I physical training room, I exhibition space, I entrance hall and lobby, and I lounge every building need to be secured to raise the efficiency, and it is desirable that dining room and cooking room are established at a separate building. In case of small-sized grouping spaces such as resting room, party room, seminar room, library, PC room, among these spaces, library, PC room and seminar room should be secured at a quiet place being separated from noise sources.
