가. 유효성 평가
○ 나노항암제와 병용 시 항암효능 증진 효과
- Docetaxel-PNP/Opus병용 시 췌장암, 내성폐암, 대장암에 대한 항암효능 증가 확인
- Paclitaxel-PNP/Opus병용 시 난소암에 대한 항암효능 증가 확인
- Genexol-PM/Opus 병용 시 췌장암 및 난소암에 대한 항암효능 증가 확인
나. 안전성 평가:
○ Opus자체의 예비독성평가
- 일반마우스 및 형질전환마우스에서 최대 투여용량 20 mg/kg에서 독성 없음 확인
- 원숭이 용량증가 단회투여 독성시험에서 최대투여용량 10 mg/kg까지 투여가능확인.
○ 나노항암제의 독성에 미치는 영향 평가
- 일반마우스 및 형질전환마우스에서 Opus가 최대 20 mg/kg까지 병용투여해도 Docetaxel-PNP의 독성을 증가시키지 않음을 확인. 다. 생산공정 평가:
○ Opus 단백질 생산공정 파악 및 생산가능성 평가
- 낮은 수율 및 높은 엔도톡신 이슈 개선 필요성 확인

A. Efficacy
○ Anti-tumor efficacy of combining Opus and anticancer nanomedicine
- Combination of Docetaxel-PNP/Opus: Enhanced anti-tumor efficacy against pancreatic, resistance lung, and colon cancer
- Combination of Paclitaxel-PNP/Opus: Enhanced anti-tumor efficacy against ovarian cancer
- Combination of Genexol-PM/Opus: Enhanced anti-tumor efficacy against pancreatic and ovarian cancer
B. Safety
○ Preliminary toxicity test for Opus only
- Single dose toxicity tests using normal and transgenic mice: Maximum lethal dose > 20 mg/kg, No toxicity observed.
- Dose Escalating Study using monkey: maximum lethal dose > 10 mg/kg, No toxicity observed.
○ Evaluation of effect of Opus on toxicity of anticancer nanomedicine
- Single dose toxicity tests using normal and transgenic mice for combination of Docetaxel-PNP/Opus: No increase in toxicity of anticancer nanomedicine was observed.
