우리나라의 전통적인 가정내 자녀교육 = A Study on an Education of Children in Korean Traditional Home

국문 초록 (Abstract)

우리나라 자녀의 전통적인 가정교육은 유교를 바탕으로한 생활교육이었고 덕과 행실을 중요시하였다. 자녀교육에서 특히 태아의 교육을 중시하여 태교를 엄격히 하였다. 어머니가 자녀교육의 담당자이고 여아보다 남아교육을 중시하였다. 여아는 학교교육보다는 가정내 품성 교육에 치중하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

An education of children in Korean traditional home has been an education of daily life based upon Confucianism. It has looked upon a virtue and behavior as the most important task. It emphasized especially a prenatal education and let it to be practiced strictly. Usually children's education has been charged to their mother. And education of sons has been regarded as much more important one than that of daughters'. Parents have put much more values on home discipline than on formal school education in regard to their daughters' education.
