In a highway environment, an intelligent traffic control system using CCTV or black box images needs to generate global coordinates for the purpose of extracting traffic data such as vehicle location or speed information. The global coordinates generated from the highway image are detected with an artificial intelligence model, the location of the tracked vehicle is identified, and the accuracy is determined from the result of estimating the speed.
Therefore, in this paper, in order to effectively analyze traffic information for each lane of a road in an intelligent traffic control system, accurate global coordinates were generated using LDM road precision map and RTK-GPS based on landmarks in highway images.
