      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      This vessel is designed for the purpose of offshore crane operation, and pipe laying is additionally taken into account. A main function of the vessel is to carry out lifting operations with a fully revolving, 4000 ton offshore crane, which is located on the aft-starboard side. The other main function of the Vessel is to lay pipelines by the use of its multi-joint pipe handing plant on main deck and a RJ-lay tower located above the moon pool accepting quad-joint pipe stacks. This paper presents that the structural strength assessment of whole ship of pipe laying vessel. FE analyses are performed to evaluate global strength considering the moon pool effectiveness, operating loads of reel & RJ-tower equipments, crane load, and wave etc. FE model of hull structure is made in accordance with the recognized LR ship analysis procedure.
