This study is prepared for checking what the literary men at the second half of Joseon Dynasty regarded WangShouren[王守仁]`s literature as. A review of their appraisals reveals that his literature totally was appreciated, while he was harshly criticized academically. That they fully appreciated it resulted from their affirmative realization of literary identity based on ``buyirenfeiyan[不以人廢言]``, even if there was a matter of degree from person to person. They realized that he predicated upon ``quwenchangshi[去文尙實]`` made use of the rhetoric of pianzhang[篇章] such as kaihe[開闔], yiyang[抑揚] and more, and then states their various aspects of criticism for his writing. Especially, both the way to make the point clear, which is indicative, to the point, and unquestionable, and the vigor of writing down attracted their attention. That is, WangShouren[王守仁] partially got the credit for literature and its service, although was criticized academically by the literary men at the second half of Joseon Dynasty.
